• Can you guarantee employment? We are a training center not a job board. The only person that can guarantee your employment is you. People spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to go to college with no guarantee of employment. Unlike college, we coach you every week and give you tools to find clients, where to look, and what to do to keep those clients once you have them. The rest is up to you. You can create the future that you want. We are here to help you do just that. 
  
• How long will it take me to get started?  You can dive in today to get started with the START HERE section to make using the platform effortless. We have compiled answers to our most common questions so that you have those available as soon as you sign up. You will also be able to access the entire FOUNDATION section so you can start learning how to analyze a screenplay right away. Then after the seven day trial period is over, the entire Screenreader System opens up.
  
  As you progress, I recommend that you take your time. It’s not a race and there is no such thing as being late or behind. We want you to do this at your own pace and not be stressed. We’ve actually designed the Screenreader System to mimic what your life will be like as a reader, meaning you can set your own pace. That being said, in the Screenreader System Plus and Accelerator Programs, you have six months within the Insider Track membership - this is intentional. We’ve actually limited the time to six months to incentivize people. We have so much fun that sometimes people like to just hang out and we want to be sure you actually get out there and get working! Within those six months, you can get through the materials and graduate so that I can look at your coverages and we can get you going with the Promo Pack in order to promote you and help you find work as one of our graduates.
  
• What if I can’t make the IT sessions? The sessions are recorded so that you can watch them at your convenience. You can also send us questions and/or post them in the Facebook Group and we will answer them during the live session so that you can see the answers in the replay. We often do special sessions on nights and weekends - we try to mix it up and every few months we do a poll so that members can pick the best time and day for our regular sessions. You can also dive in and binge sessions from the last two years. So you’ll have plenty of content to help you on your journey.
  
• What if I am an actor? There is an entire section in Getting The Gig bonus called Perspectives that demonstrates how an actor breaks down a screenplay. I have a degree in drama with an emphasis in acting so I walk you through how an actor prepares.
  
• What if I write screenplays? I highly recommend the Screenreader System for writers. You will see how to write a screenplay that will get past a reader! Many of our students have written screenplays after going through the course because now that they understand how to break down a script, writing one is much easier. Being a reader is also invaluable for writing. It is a front and center position for seeing why people choose certain films to develop. Not to mention the contacts you will make as a writer will make it easier for you to launch your career. I have had many rewriting gigs based on the relationships I made as a reader. The current film I am writing all started because the producer was someone I worked with as a story consultant on a previous project. 
  
• Is this a referral site? We don’t act as a headhunter but we do have the Promo Pack for our alumni. The promo pack consists of three main components. We put our alumni into the Screenreader Pipeline which is a directory that I share with producers and companies that need readers. We also have the Screenreader Portal available for you so you can have your information on our website. This allows you to use our site so that you don’t have to build your own website and you’ll have a link to share with people. Or you can build your own site and share it on our page since we already have traffic coming to our page with people looking for information about readers. We also invite you to be on the Screenreader Squad so that you can be on panels and we can feature you in social media with interviews on YouTube, Clubhouse, on our podcast, etc. We want to tell everyone about you so that you can get some traction and people can see that we are creating qualified readers. This isn’t just a course, it’s a movement!
  
• What if I don’t have time? As your coach and mentor, I will challenge you on that. We all have the same amount of time. It’s up to you to use the time to do the things that are important to you. You have to value the things you want. If you want to know what you value, look at what you did today, and yesterday, and the day before that. I want to get you where you are doing things to build your career everyday. Even if it’s just for a few minutes. There are people that are changing the world with the time that they have. If you're here right now you’ve already proven your values are in the right place. You'll just have to do what you did today to make it work. I believe you are one of those people that can make anything you want happen.
  
• What if I can’t afford it? If this is cutting into your ability to pay for essentials, then you might need to wait, start planning and budgeting in order to join later – Although if you join later, we can’t guarantee the price will still be the same. However, when you think about the fact that you'll get weekly career coaching in Screenreader System Plus, you can use that coaching to walk you through steps so you can earn the money you will spend to take this course. You will also have access to archives where you can watch previous trainings that we’ve done on productivity, money management and wealth building. How long will you wait to get started? Getting out of your comfort zone is where true growth happens.
  
• What are the stats of how many people have graduated and are working? I’ve dug into this to try to provide a concrete answer but it’s such a slippery statistic. Some people start working before they graduate and never finish. Some people take the course to write a screenplay so they’re not interested in finishing, they just want the script analysis part. But I can confidently say that this is a course you can finish and we are fully committed to helping you do so. And our graduates are making things happen. I our readers are reading for industry professionals people that work with names such as Kevin Heart and Keanu Reeves. Our readers are also starting their own businesses, they're creating courses and resources for writers, they're starting podcasts, making films, receiving awards in film festivals, and they're reading screenplays for producers, writers, contests, fellowships and festivals. And let’s not forget that Ed and Paula met in the program and are now married!
  
• Where do I find work? That is a huge question with a multifaceted answer. Everyone is different. There are a lot of paths you can take. Being a reader is like being a casting director. You’re trying to find the right script for the right producer. So since you are the reader that is looking for screenplays that will match the type of the movies a producer is looking for...then you need to decide what type of producer you want to work with. If you love horror films, you look for clients in that genre. Or maybe you want to work with writers. We walk you through how to do that. The way the course is laid out is part of the training to get you accustomed to the lifestyle of being a reader. We have alumni that are focusing on reading for producers, some that are producers and use it to be able to communicate with writers, some are consultants, we even have someone that started a screenplay competition so he’s hiring his fellow alumni to read for him, some pivoted and got inspired to write screenplays and now their placing in competitions and optioning their work. That’s the beauty of it. You decide what you want to do and use the tools to map out your unique Success Path.  
  
• Can I do it from Canada? Yes. You can do it from anywhere. You don’t necessarily have to work for American companies anymore. Big distributors like Netflix are looking for deals outside of the United States. You can work with aspiring filmmakers in your own community to help them get their stories prepared so that those producers can strike deals with American companies. Or you can work with American companies remotely.
  
• Is the course lifetime access?  The Screenreader System is 100% lifetime access. Your access to the Screenreader System, Coverage Corner and Getting the Gig will always be yours to keep.  If you’re in the Screenreader System Plus, you will also have lifetime access to the Coaching and Consulting Bonus for free forever. 
  
  With the Accelerator and Screenreader System Plus Program, you receive 6 months within the Insider Track Membership. This comes with access to weekly live trainings, movie nights, special guests, the facebook  group, live coverage review, the writers’ room and live course review sessions, the Screenreader Portal, Screenreader Pipeline and the Screenreader Squad for six months.  After that, you can stay in the membership if you want for a small monthly investment. But if you decide not to renew you’ll get to keep the course. Your access to the Screenreader System never expires.
  
• How does it help to be in the community? I can’t say enough about the community. They are amazing. They support each other. Some of them have been starting businesses together. They’ve formed screenwriting partnerships. For example, we have a lot of people that read for the Austin FIlm Festival. A group of them got an Air B & B together to attend the conference. Some of them had Producers badges which gets them into everything and allows them to meet a lot of people. So cool, right? Then, while they were together, one of the Screenreaders was shooting a trailer for a film. So the group actually helped her on the set of her shoot. So here we have a bunch of people that didn’t know each other before joining the Screenreader Program suddenly in Austin shooting a film's trailer together. It’s so exciting. I can’t wait to see what else grows out of this experience. And my favorite story is two members meeting and getting married. So cool. 
  
• Do you give us feedback? In the Insider Track we have a team of our Certified Coaches that look at your homework and give you feedback along the way. They also look at your coverages, give you feedback and then they give me a heads up when it looks like your coverages are ready to go. Then I do a video review and give you direct feedback so that your two coverages are solid and ready for use.. Then you use those as samples to get jobs. 
  
  The Screenreader System is as stand-alone, self-paced course so I don’t look at your coverages and you won’t get direct feedback on your homework, but we put a ton of samples in the course of our best students’ work so you can compare and make sure you’re up to speed. 
  
• What if I’m not a tech person? - If you’re here asking this question, you have enough skills to be a reader. We also have a very committed customer service team that will help you with anything you need
  
• Do you do one-on-one coaching? Yes. My coaching practice is separate from the group.  I have limited spots available. That said, priority for booking those spots goes to Insider Track members. You can book a spot by emailing a request to Team@
